The Stables is extremely comfortable and well equipped, which is ideal after a long day out in the mountains. We stayed in early April for 10 nights and the accommodation was warm and cosy with a nice hot shower. The layout is very good and there is plenty of space. As dog owners the enclosed garden gave us peace of mind and meant we could relax without worrying that our pooch might wander off. The Stables feels very private and parking is easy. Karen is welcoming and on hand if needed but also respects your privacy. We’d happily stay here again.

Just got back from a wonderful and peaceful week away at Pen-Y-Ffrith farm. We both have stressful jobs and this peaceful break was exactly what we needed to switch off and get some much needed rest. We felt right at home as soon as we walked into the cottage and our 9 year old loved the cottage just as much, so we were all happy. Karen (host) has gone to great efforts with welcome and information packs so you have everything you need and more. The cottage was absolutely spotless and the layout is perfect. The beds are really comfortable, we had better sleep there than in our own bed. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and everything you need to ensure you can make the most of the self-catering. Although there are other cottages it all feels very private allowing to relax in your own cottage. You also have your own little well presented garden with picnic area. The location is perfect for exploring other areas of North Wales. We will definitely return to cottage breaks Wales.

We spent a fantastic three nights at Karen's Cottage. Communication before check-in was excellent and the instructions provided extremely easy to understand and follow. Karen was very friendly when greeting us on check-in. The accommodation matches the photos and the description. The location is very peaceful, extremely clean and things such as hand soap, washing up liquid and cooking oil provided. We were also pleased that tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of towels were provided for our stay. All amenities listed within the description were provided. I wouldn't hesitate to book this cottage again as we had a fantastic stay and wish we had booked for longer.
