The place was very quiet, had every amenity imaginable, and had beautiful surroundings. Sue was a great, attentive host & went out of her way to ensure everything was handled to my satisfaction. Tucked away among vineyards yet only a few minutes away from restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Wineries galore! Ample, proximal parking. I stayed over a month, & the washer & dryer downstairs really helped. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed the location, on the south end of Livermore, by the vineyard. It's a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood. Sue was friendly and helpful. Parking was always available. There is everything one needs for a long-term stay. We stayed for 5 weeks.

Sue's place was a great spot for 1 or possibly 2 people staying long term in the Livermore area. It was particularly convenient for those working at LLNL, and I would definitely stay again. Pros: This spot is quiet, private, and convenient. Sue is a great host; she was responsive to all of my needs, flexible when my changed a bit, and generally friendly and accommodating. The apartment matched the description quite well -- it's a studio flat above a separated garage in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The kitchen was very well stocked with almost anything one would need for making a meal. Bed was comfortable. A/C and heating worked well. Cons: Only minor issues. The price for this flat is a bit steep, but given the bay area it's comparable to anything else out there and you get a lot for what you pay. Parking was occasionally a bit tedious -- there is ample street parking and Sue was on call if needed. There is no dishwasher in the flat, but for one person this wasn't a problem.

Sue is a wonderful host. Her guest space is pretty, cozy, and well-appointed, and the location in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the vineyards is ideal! We loved being there for a three month stay, and also really enjoyed the proximity to the walking and biking trails around Livermore.
