Mauro was an engaging owner who was very responsive throughout our 2-week stay. The 3 separate accommodation buildings were exactly what we wanted and worked well for our party of 8 adults. Some aspects struggled with the unusually high heat levels, including one older a/c unit; towards the end of our stay the fridge and progressively the swimming pool where algae steadily built up despite treatment. The villa is in a lovely location a short 10-minute drive to central Alghero. But be aware that close to the villa the single lane access road is breaking up badly and is now heavily rutted over a 100m stretch. Worth considering additional rental car insurance to cover possible wheel damage.
