I work in a laboratory by day, musician by night. I've hosted travelers from many countries and love learning about other cultures. It's a shared living space, so it may not be a fit for everyone, but I do not discriminate against guests on the basis of county of origin, religion, gender identity, hair color, favorite sport team, occupation or the other things that sometimes divide us. My listings are all in a suburb just outside of Chicago. It's a safe, quiet neighborhood that has lots of restaurants, shops, and parks nearby. You can get to the downtown Chicago area by car in approx. 30 minutes, or by public transportation in about an hour. If you're flying into Midway Airport, it's about a 15-20 minute drive away, but it's about 45-60 minutes to O'Hare Airport. With the self-check in feature, I don't always interact with my guests in person, but I'm easy to reach by messaging or text if you need anything or just have a question. I've lived in the area a long time and I'm happy to give you recommendations. Happy Travels!
