Xavier gave clear instructions for checkin and check out. Self check in was very convenient, allowed me flexibility with time of arrival and felt like arriving in my own home. The place was very clean and spacious. The temperature was ideal upon arrival and throughout the stay. The bed is comfortable, room feels cozy and invites a peaceful sleep. A personal favorite for me was the bathroom, bright, modern, private, a lot of space, fantastic shower. The location is very convenient, lively neighborhood with all you will need at a short distance. The apartment is an oasis of quiet despite the central location. No noises or disturbances. I would recommend and come back if I visit Lyon again. Big thanks to Xavier!

Amazing location, can walk everywhere. Central and lively area but still very quiet inside the apartment. Easy access to Vieux Lyon and lots of restaurants just steps from the apartment, as well as a couple of small grocery stores. Xavier is responsive and helpful. Apartment is exactly as described and has everything you’d need to cook meals (though we opted to go out!). Highly recommend!!

This apartment in the centre of Lyon hosted by Xavier’s has restored our faith in Airbnb… we couldn’t fault it …great respectfully modernisée apartment in beautiful old building … perfect for our two week stay… we felt like locals… everything about this stay just worked from location to space to amenities… washing machine and dishwasher makes life travelling easy! But seriously it’s a very well managed and considered apartment perfect for short stay accommodation… wish they were all this good! Thanks Xavier for doing it so well!

I absolutely loved staying at this apartment! Everything was super clean, just like a hotel. No clutter and nice open spaces. Did I mention clean? It was absolutely spotless! Beautiful decor, modern but with a touch of old elegance. The bathroom is especially nice, clean and very comfortable. Shower was equipped with nice shampoo and body wash. Xavier is a great host. He is clear with instructions on how to get the key and provided a nice touch with a nespresso machine, pods, sugar cubes, etc on a tray. The location is perfect with a pedestrian street lined with restaurants and cafes around the corner. We walked over to the Food Market by the river and bought goodies back for lunch. The bridge and river is right down the street (two blocks) and we walked all over the historic old city from our location. I highly recommend this apartment if you’re in Lyon!
