Case Ranch Inn is owned by Barbara Wolf and her daughters. Barbara became interested in bed and breakfasts after traveling extensively with her daughters in Europe ... staying at a wide variety of charming bed and breakfast lodgings from the British Isles to Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, and Italy. Initially, she considered buying a bed and breakfast in Ashland, Oregon because of the Shakespearean Festival and theatre season in Ashland during the summer months, but ultimately decided on the Sonoma wine country area because of the stunning scenery, beautiful climate, and wealth of cultural activities. Barbara was specifically attracted to Case Ranch Inn because of its beautiful grounds, many fruit trees, the design of the interior of the bed and breakfast, plus the history of the home. Prior to purchasing Case Ranch Inn, Barbara was an estate planning lawyer for over 30 years in south Florida specializing in estate planning and elder law. She has 2 daughters (one who is a writer/English teacher, and one who is an environmental scientist working on climate change and endangered species) and 4 grandchildren in the San Francisco area. Her passions include gardening, travel, and gourmet cooking. You can expect an exceptional experience when staying at Case Ranch Inn!
