Excellent flat; fully recommended. Very smart, spotlessly clean and superbly equipped. Nice garden too, if there had been decent weather! Easy and comprehensive communication with owners.

Clare and Matt were great hosts: good communicators and easy to deal with, and their lovely flat came with a clear house guide and looked as good as the pictures. (The second bedroom, just fyi, also serves as their dining room and the bed folds down from the wall.) Walthamstow is a really sweet area: diverse and multicultural with some lovely parks and chi-chi delis and galleries as well as great international food options (including Uyghur!). We really appreciated the little gift of bread and wine on arrival. The flat is two minutes from a really sweet park and, while you're a bit of a way from the centre because of the 20-minute walk to the Victoria Line station, there are enough tube, bus and overland options that you can reach the West End in 40 minutes and most other parts of zones 1 and 2 in around an hour. If you're driving, this is also a great choice: you're outside the LEZ and CC zone, five minutes from the North Circular and there's free on-street parking 10 minutes from the house.

I would stay here every time I bring my family to Walthamstow if I could. The flat is gorgeously updated and has a perfect garden with a deck to eat summer meals on. We had two children under two with us and were able to use the extra room for the baby cots and toys - the kids loved it. Perfect walking distance to the park corner shops and two larger sainsbury’s if you need. Walthamstow is such a gem and this flat is a great way to experience it! Clare and Matt were incredible hosts - provided flowers fresh bread and coffee upon arrival and gave us a tour of the house in person. Hope to come back soon!
