I’ve heard of Rijeka’s laid back and beautiful atmosphere and thought this was exactly the environment I was looking to hunker in during the pandemic. When I got to the city, Croatia went on lockdown— shops, restaurants and bars closed. But I did not mind at all because Srecko’s apartment was beautiful, homey and provided a feel-good haven for me and my partner. Srecko’s wife designed the space to be a truly magical place to stay. My partner and I slept here, worked here, chilled out, cooked ( a lot ) for almost two months. We were living in a dream home; somehow every nook, decor and amenity gave us a sense of belonging! For someone who loves cooking, the apartment was a DREAM— I can write an essay about how amazing the kitchen is, but I’ll spare you. Matted countertops, tasteful selections of dinnerware and kitchen utilities were available and we definitely put them to good use! The bathrooms and bedrooms felt like an exquisite feature of a chic home & living magazine. However, the most thoughtful touch during our stay was a Christmas tree that Srecko and his wife left in the apartment for us. We spent Christmas and New Year there, and it was a beautiful and heartfelt gesture to bring us the holiday cheer and spirit. To top it all off, Srecko had a level of hospitality that you don’t see much of anymore. When I checked in, there were delicious homemade traditional dishes waiting for me on the table — I was in heaven and thought it was going to end there. But every single week that Srecko came to bring us clean beddings and towels, he never came empty handed. From more homemade savory pastries to deserts, we were so spoiled (mostly me because I barely shared with my partner). The communication was fantastic. Srecko is fast in response and incredibly attentive. Thank you Srecko for an unforgettable stay. We hope to return when it’s warmer and pandemic free :)

I have stayed here multiple times and i have never been disappointed. The apartment is always clean on arrival. The host comes in once a week to change linens and give it a cleaning. The location is super, a short walk to everything that Rijeka’s city center has to offer.

Very nice Apartment. Modern, new, clean and central. All you need. We enjoyed our Business trip for 5 days. I had a very good sleep on these comfortable Beds! This place is strongly recommended!

Our host Srećko was very friendly and responded always nearly instantaneously. The luxury apartment was clean and very well equipped (also many toiletries) and its stylish kitchen was also functional. It is located very near the market halls, many restaurants and pubs. The city center is not far away. Sunset watched from Molo Longo were picture-perfect. We had luck and got a short term parking place right in front of the house as we arrived. Long term parking was cheaper across the bridge (gates seems to be open at night).
