We had a very late arrival and Jennifer was very accommodating. We loved the stay and the nice breakfast before a day of hiking.

We had a very good time. The space was great, super clean and Jennifer and the folks were super friendly and helpful. We slept like stones. Would definitely recommend for those visiting Death Valley. Note that Beatty and gas station are 30 miles from Shady Lady.

I was looking for lodging for a 2 day Death Valley trip that was pet friendly and stumbled across Shady Lady Bed & Breakfast. I've never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before so I did not know what to expect. I reached out to Jennifer and she assured me it was not be a problem leaving our large dog in the room and that she would check on him! Jennifer and Nigel and team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of my dog while I spent my day at Death Valley National Park. She fed him treats, walked him, and made him feel at home. I could not have found a better place to stay with people who loved pets. You can tell as Jennifer and Nigel has different pets of their own and take great care of them. The space was decorated as the pictures, the hot tub was comfortable and relaxing after a day of hiking at the national, and everyone was friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again!
