Welcome to 'Namaste' - "the divine in me bows to the divine in you". Namaste is a beautiful coast house suited to families, couples and fur babies alike. Please make Namaste 'your home' during your stay. 'Namaste' is beautifully positioned across the road from the beach, park and shops, so all you need to do is simply park your car, unpack and then enjoy your holiday. Laze on the beach, the upstairs deck or the downstairs entertainment area... 'Namaste' is a beautiful holiday home with a spiritual feel (as many guests have mentioned) which serves to enhance the relaxing experience of a holiday by the sea. Located in spectacular Malua Bay, 'Namaste' is just a 2 minute stroll to Malua Bay Beach which is fully patrolled during the summer months. There is also a lovely grass area at the beach with BBQs, play equipment (and toilets) for the children to enjoy. The three bedroom 'home away from home' has two bedrooms with QS beds and a 3rd bedroom with bunk beds and single bed (and portacot), and two bathrooms (master bedroom has an ensuite). Namaste boasts bright and airy living areas and a fully equipped modern kitchen (with dishwasher) where you can cook up a storm! Enjoy a coffee from the coffee maker, or perhaps a plunger or percolated coffee, hot chocolate (with marshmallows) or choose from our eclectic selection of teas. In the pantry, you will find breakfast cereal, oil, flour, rice, sauces, salt and pepper, herbs and spices, vegemite (of course!), peanut butter and more. Namaste sits on a large block with lawns and gardens both front and back for all the family to enjoy; plenty of room for a game of cricket, totem tennis, soccer or frisbee. With a key to the shed, you are welcome to use the boogie boards, outdoor games, buckets and spades etc. 'Namaste' is located on a service road, off a main road through town. Therefore, there is some road traffic noise; so if you prefer a very quiet Air BnB, perhaps 'Namaste' is not your ideal getaway location. There is a downstairs undercover entertainment area to sit back and relax whilst enjoying a pizza from the pizza oven, watching the children play or just 'being'. Alternatively, the upstairs deck is wonderful for enjoying breakfast, lunch , drinks and/or dinner - perhaps spark up the BBQ for a meal? There is an 8 seater table and chairs and large umbrella on the deck. 'Namaste' has reverse cycle air conditioning for both the summer and winter months, and fans can be found in the bedrooms. There is also a laundry for the use of guests. Please enjoy the use of our varied selection of DVDs, CDs, games, books, jigsaws, colouring in books, pencils and more. Continuous Wi-Fi is also available at 'Namaste'. There is a house manual which we request you read for valuable information, as well as a folder of brochures and booklets of things to do in and around the area of Malua Bay - Mogo, Mogo Zoo and Mogo goldfields are just up the road! Hungry? Sandy Foot Pizza Bar is fabulous - the pizzas, burgers and fish and chips are great. Also, 'Hot off the grill' burger van operates at Malua Bay car park on Sundays for lunch and dinner; awesome burgers and chips!! The Malua Bay Bowling Club is up and running again after being lost in the 2019/2020 fires. Well worth a visit and only 800m up the road, or you can book the courtesy bus! The famous 'Raymond's Chinese Restaurant' is now across the road, under the Abode Apartments - fabulous Chinese food, stretching many decades of excellent food and service.
