This is our third visit to Jillian and Ray's place. My husband and I stayed in Dragonfly while our friends stayed in River Rat. It was a great place to relax and connect with friends. The space is well equipped, the hosts are friendly and accommodating and the River is amazing. We will be back -again and again! Thank you!

Unfortunately after a 2.5 drive we decided not to stay at this cabin. It wasn’t as pictured. The sofa was full of stains. The place was hott with only one fan in the whole cabin. The mattresses are very old and I didn’t feel comfortable putting my bedding on it. everything is old and worn. The bed had no bedside lamps. The bathroom lacked hand towels and was extremely hot as there is no ac in the shower shed. The fridge had old food in it along with what we could only guess was worms or some sort of fish food ? Glad to see the host updated her photos but the listing originally shows two different living rooms and never showed that the fire pit area was overlooking the lawn and bathhouse and not the river. I would have never had rented this if I knew my view was of nothing. I really think with some extra care and cleaning and investing in coordinating the furniture and adding lamps, fans and even washable Sofa covers will make guests like me more comfortable. The host didn’t refund us

I am so grateful to have found Jillian and Ray’s cabin! They were both responsive and helpful about any and everything. They were also so laid back and cool about everything, letting us feel fully relaxed and able to be ourselves. The property was spacious and beautiful and it was awesome to be able to walk out our door and sit by the river or jump in a canoe. They accepted our crazy doodles, who were able to run around with their dog Roxy (who I also give 5 stars to). We slept in the Queen bed and it was very comfortable! The bathrooms were close by and we had our own private bathroom with plenty of space to put our towels and toiletries. Also had a perfect screened in porch with a perfect little fire pit area in the back where you could sit and read or draw or whatever! I highly recommend this stay! Thank you so much for having us.

There are no words to express our gratitude to these amazing hosts! When I had car trouble on day 1 and couldn’t get back there, Ray was kind enough to give my husband a ride to the store for some groceries to get him and our 4 yr old through into the next day. He stopped by to check on us the next day as well as did Jill! They are down to earth, real people who aren’t charging an arm and leg for a BEAUTIFUL property with all of the amenities you’d need for camping!! We will definitely be visiting again next summer!!
