Wir waren für unseren Roadtrip durch Schottland bei Carlene zuhause, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in the Oaks. Es ist wirklich nicht groß aber es hat für uns gereicht. Die Landschaft war wunderschön!

Lovely private country location. Had some trouble finding property despite very detailed photos (we came from opposite direction) however Carlene put us right with a phone call ! Views across the surrounding fields would have been lovely to enjoy from the adjoining deck if it hadn't been for heavy rain while we were there. Bed & bedding were super comfortable & the room spacious & nicely decorated. Not far from two towns for supplies. Very relaxing break while travelling.

Lovely room with good furnishings. Only things that would have helped would be black out blinds fitted closer to windows and a door blind . Pillow protectors and tea towel needed . This won't stop us using again though .

Carlene was friendly and helpful. I stayed for 2 nights and was extremely satisfied. It was warm and cosy with comfortable beds. Beautiful place to stay if you like the peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again 🙂🙂
