My family and I spent a week at the Robert's cabin for a peaceful getaway from our typical hustle and bustle. Our expectations were quickly exceeded- The lake is clean and beautiful, we enjoyed our time by, or on, the water. The community you encounter is filled with kind, charming people which made us feel right at home. Robert is an attentive host who did more than his part to ensure we had what we needed during our stay. He was easy to get ahold of and one of the nicest guys you could rent from. The cabin was clean when we arrived and stocked super well, from blankets and pillows to kitchen utensils. If a peaceful cabin tucked in the woods is what you're looking for, then you can't go wrong with Hemlock Heaven. We had a wonderful time that we won't forget. Thank you for everything!

This handsome, well appointed cabin is at the end of a private 2 mile drive adjacent to what feels like a private old forest with long paths to walk. Beautiful surroundings and wonderfully quite. Views of lake from large deck off back of house with 2 docks and boats a plenty (a pontoon, 2 motor boats, 2 canoes)! Fun fishing lake and a map provided of good spots to catch walleye. Very responsive host with good ideas for yummy food, hiking adventures and things to do locally. Cant wait to go back!

We enjoyed our stay at Robert’s cabin. It was a peaceful and restful stay with beautiful scenery. His cabin is very cozy and we especially enjoyed the outdoor space.

We had a really lovely stay at Bob’s cabin. It was well described overall- a good balance between rustic and comfortable. Take note there are 2 bedrooms and 1 open sleeping loft which had a double bed and 2 twins set up, but you do need to walk right through this area to use the stairs. The kitchen was extemely well stocked and comfortable for cooking in and we enjoyed the gas grill a few times. The location is perfect for quiet and unplugging from tech. The chain of lakes is beautiful, we realy liked canoeing through each. Limited phone signal and no wifi were a plus for our stay! It’s a bit of a drive to anywhere but we enjoyed many of the activities available in the North Woods. Bob was a very proactive host- checked in before, during, and after our stay. We also borrowed his pontoon boat for a day and it gave us some trouble starting and he was very helpful (and cheerfully so)!

My family loved our week at Bob’s cabin. Was remote and peaceful which are the two most important qualities for our vacations as we like to unplug and enjoy nature. The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. Lakes are beautiful and great hiking right from the property. Can’t beat the sounds of loons as you drink coffee on an incredible porch facing the lake. Bob was great and one of the friendliest hosts I’ve dealt with over many years of renting vacation cabins. The north woods is a great place to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle and highly recommend for anyone looking for a nature escape.
