I found Jason's place really compact for the interview I was there for up in Derby (to which I managed to get the place!) and it had everything I needed to stay for two nights, although, due to the bed squeaking I would be hesitant to do a whole week stay here, personally. If I have to come back to Derby for any reason over the next few months though, I will definitely use Jason's place as it was clean, worked for a place to sleep and work. I will say that locking the door and opening it takes some getting used to because of the locks, but that is absolutely fine when you get used to it. The area is a five min walk to the centre and perfect for night-time walks to go to the pub/meal out, or just have a stroll around the city. Yvonne (Jason's mum) was personable and professional and always just next door for when you need her for any queries and the host is responsive and personable. I can't say enough good about the house and the place for a few nights!

Jason was a very friendly host and was extremely responsive in the lead up to our stay! The room didn’t quite look as nice as in the photos, but in general the property is as described. There were quite a few other people renting rooms in the property, they were all lovely but just be aware there will likely be others around. If you’re there for a short stay then this is a perfect place, and Jason was a great host.
