Well equipped appartement in beautiful surroundings. Our host was friendly and we made some nice walks with our kids. There's a playground in Sellerich and at the Schwarzer Mann Blockhaus.

Positive feedback: The owner is a kind person, not very social which is ok. The location of the house is great with enough walking routes to try out which is what we liked the most about our stay. The view from the living room is nice and we thought it is very lovely to have a sort of roofed terrace at the back of the house, where we could sit outside even when it rained. Also there is a new flatscreen tv, which is an improvement based on the presented photos. Our suggestions to improve the house: - A thorough cleaning of the house and replacement of some old furniture and utensils (bed, kettle and pans) is really needed. Otherwise, we think the cleaning fee is not worth it and reservations with a baby/small children could be unacceptable for some families. - Please make future visitors more aware of the cleaning fee and energy and water costs, by making it more visible in the description. This could be done by adding it at the general description and not somewhere at the bottom of the page, which has to be expanded by clicking on “show more”. - The owner could more clearly write down what the visitors have to bring along, as the house is equipped very basic. E.g. kitchen and bath towels, toilet paper, washing machine tablets, potholder/oven mitts, size of the cover for the bed(s), etc. We think this house (and owner) could get a much better review, after carrying out the above mentioned suggestions.
