Snow hugged the roof tops and street shoulders as the morning sun glistened through the pines. Living areas spacious, the comfort divine. Beds rampant with warmth, and linens so fresh. Serene, cozy, and clean, are just a few ways of many to describe this cabin in Lakeshore. My group rented this space for easy access to China peak mountain resort. With only a short 3-5 minute drive to the resort parking lot we could not have asked for a closer and more welcoming stay, it really felt like a home away from home. The WiFi is strong, and the nearby general store and restaurant had just about everything you would need if going out. With a name like Lakeshore, it’s no wonder you can walk a short distance to the breathtaking views that lake Huntington and the surrounding wilderness has to offer. Being able to experience this quaint and beautiful community is a must for any winter or summer vacation you might be planning to Lakeshore, CA. Highly recommend this cabin!

The condo was clean and set up as described. There was a smell in kitchen by sink when we first got there, and we figured it was because there was water in the bottom of the dishwasher. We later tried the dishwasher and it didn't seem to work correctly, which would explain why dishes in the cabinet seemed dirty to us. It would have been helpful to have a kettle (electric or stove) for heating up water for tea. Fireplace didn't seem to work, we tried several times to have a fire and you really have to babysit it and even with that it would go out. So something must be going on with it. Other than those few issues we had a great time and the condo was clean and quiet and we slept well and had a really nice time.

Pros: good location for china peak and Mono hot springs, the house is clean, the decoration is pleasing. Cons: it is hard to find the house with the address the owner provided, the shower water can be cold after two people took shower, the soundproof is bad especially if you sleep in the guestroom.
