We loved our weekend at Shane’s place! Perfect spot for 8 adults and 3 kids with excellent room to play outside. Loved the firepit and basement and had all the cooking equipment needed to make some great meals. Would absolutely recommend!

Overall we had a nice stay at the Babble Brook Lodge. When we walked in, I felt it looked exactly as pictured. It's a great cabin for a large family with multiple gathering areas inside and out. We visited the Lodge to view the total solar eclipse, and it was a perfect location with the open yard and cute pond. We had an unfortunate situation with the oven as it had a grease spill inside that wasn't visible and we got completely smoked out while trying to prepare a meal. We called Shawn and he was very responsive, and explained how to remove the bottom cover of the stove to expose the issue. We cleaned it up and were fine afterwards. Again, overall, it was a good stay. The location of the cabin is quite remote though, with very little to do around it unless you want to drive at least 20 minutes in any direction. Keep that in mind if you are looking for a place more "bustling"! Also, sign the guest book while there! We forgot and I regret that!
