Lovely flat with everything that you need and could think of. Nicely decorated. The working area was ideal to combine work and travel. Wi-Fi works through load shedding, which was a relief. Close to a lot of sights. Great restaurants only a short drive away, in particular in Constantia. Only downside is the strong wind that often blows in this area, which makes it impossible to open the windows and the fan in the roof is rather loud.

O apartamento de Marie é delicioso de ficar. Fiz uma excelente visita de 3 semanas por Cape Town, mas tb gostava de estar em casa descansando, pois tudo é muito agradável e de bom gosto. As indicações dadas por ela sobre a vizinhança tb foram muito bem vindas.

Marie's house was a match from the day we discovered it. It is just as impressive as it looks in the photographs. Every detail is taken care of from day 0. Luis and I came to Cape Town for a long stay (~1 month) to work remotely for Spain. Marie's house has been the perfect place, not only due to space, commodity, and light (which we had plenty of) but also because it has something difficult to find in any other Airbnb in the city; an independent power supply. Without this generator, working in Cape Town, besides being beautiful, is very painful, as there are constant power cut-offs on an everyday basis. Furthermore, Marie is the best one could ask when having to pick a host for a stay abroad. She received us warmly and helped us with every problem we could have.

Marie is an amazing host, very generous, always responding to any questions, sharing tips and recommendations. The apartment has it all, on top of that Marie filled the apartment with all that could anyone need during long stays (cleaning products, food, etc). Great location and the apartment design and furniture are just great, cosy. It will for sure be my first option on my next visit to Cape Town.

This was one of our best Airbnb places. It it's an old factory building made up into apartments and offices. It has a safe underground parking and safety personel on the front and in the parking. I think it was the best equipped Airbnbs we stayed in. We did have not had to buy any appliances for our month stay, everything was there in high quality. The kitchen is huge and we'll equipped so you will enjoy staying inside for dinner! There's a lovely couch and a TV. Upstairs you will find a king bed, plenty of storage space and a huge desk which you can use for work. There's also a bathroom - it's important to mark it's not a separate room so you can hear and smell of what's going inside so make sure you are comfortable with that. The shower is huge with hot water and good pressure. Internet works well for video calls and remote work. Only sometimes in the evening was not that great. There's AC both upstairs and downstairs which is useful because the place gets very warm during sunny days. The concrete roof gets a lot of heat and sleeping area was hot even late at night so we had to turn on AC for a bit even at night. It's not really easy to open the windows because it was really windy most of the time. Marie was very easy to talk to and she helped in case we had any issues. Safety wise - the two streets next to the building are definitely safe to walk around during the day, there's a nice coffee place a minute away, Woodstock Bakery selling bread every morning and a Hilton hotel. Location - it has some perks: easy access to N2 highway which takes you to Seapoint in 15 minutes. But places like Camps Bay are almost 30 away minutes in the afternoon. With Uber it might take even longer sometimes.
