we had such an amazing time at the lodge. I cannot fault Lynne or Roxanne for their hospitality and recommendations. the place, the location and the facilities were perfect.

Thank you so much Lynne - was a beautiful location and you even had little entertainment bits such as Jenga and darts and ping pong which we werent aware of! A very spacious lodge and was so cosy especially with that fire on! Would love to come back and stay for longer next time. Thank you for being so attentive and recommending us walks too! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at the Woodland Lodge. It was beautifully decorated, well equipped and it was the perfect place for our toddler to explore the ‘great outdoors’. Collecting eggs from the chickens and playing in the Wendy house were favourite pastimes, along with eating outside by the fire pit with the dogs and watching the birds and squirrels in the wood. Lynne and Nigel were brilliant hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. I also booked a massage from Roxanne, which is definitely recommended! We will be back again to try and spot the deer.

We had a wonderful stay in the New Forest on our honeymoon. Stunning rural location, it was like a Disney film opening the cabin window to deer and horses in the forest next door! The owners have a beautiful garden, like the lost gardens of helligan, with friendly chickens and ducks! The cabin was so cosy we felt right at home. The projector instead of a TV was like being at the cinema and it was great to have a slimline dishwasher so we didn't have to wash up. We were greeted on arrival and shown a full box of firewood and how to use the large log burner. Very relaxing in the evenings! Plenty of walks on the doorstep and within 10 minutes drive of the cabin there were nice places to eat out (e.g. The Potting Shed). The upstairs was awesome with the window over the bath and comfy bed, was nice to have the option of a rainfall shower downstairs too. Would highly recommend to anyone considering, it was the perfect setting to chill and relax after our wedding. Thank you for having us!!

Lynne and Nigel did nothing short of going above and beyond. From lending welly boots to bringing extra lighting for us during a power outage they made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We managed to catch sights of the white stag aswell as wild horses right from our window and the sound of woodpeckers nearby. We also enjoyed the company of the chickens and ducks that occupied the main garden. We walked for approx 5 hours in total through water and forrest enjoying beautiful scenery to the Red Shoot pub. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here regardless of the weather as inside is just as cosy as outside is scenic. Was pleasantly surprised to receive fresh eggs as a leaving gift upon our departure.
