During our four-month journey, our first encounter with Vietnam was through To, our gracious host. Initially, we harbored some reservations, but those doubts swiftly dissipated upon meeting him. To, a kind and welcoming landlord, made us feel right at home. His family’s warmth and hospitality further enriched our experience. We extended our stay by an additional two weeks, drawn by the allure of Northern Vietnam’s hidden gems. Our cozy apartment served as a comfortable base for exploration. Immersing ourselves in the local community, we discovered the true essence of Vietnam. And on that very first day, To’s wife treated us to the finest Vietnamese spring rolls, a monthly tradition for their guests. The apartment, meticulously maintained and well-equipped, felt like our own sanctuary. We wholeheartedly recommend this haven to fellow travelers. Thank you, To, for an unforgettable stay!

It’s in an area where you can experience local life. Yet you are not far from the city centre. The longer we stayed the more we liked it.

Tudo estava perfeito, To foi gentil conosco o tempo inteiro, foi o melhor host que já tivemos em toda nossa viagem pelo mundo que já fazem 2 anos! o apartamento é maravilhoso, extremamente limpo, além de tudo tivemos mais uma limpeza durante a nossa longa estadia, valeu muito a pena. To é muito gentil, e nos deixou fazer o nosso check in antecipado! amamos ficar aqui e sentiremos muita falta! fique nesse lugar, você nunca irá se arrepender. A localização é excelente!

To's place is very pretty and clean. We had an apartment with two bathrooms and had plenty of space available to hang out. One part that was not ideal were the doors - the doors close very poorly and require significant force to properly close. Front door and bathroom door both have peeping gaps (due to wood expansion?).

To is a amazing host! The accomodation is really comfortable, clean and you can even get some sunlight in the room during the day. You have all the facilities if you like to cook. The internet is good if you need to work as well. There is a local market in the corner to buy groceries. Is easy to move around to go to city center by bus 98. I highly recommend.
