The place is nice but the bathroom was dirty upon our arrival, there were ants in the kitchen, everything seems to have a sticky layer on it, there was trash (blunt guts and an empty cigarette box) in the drawer upstairs, the ice maker was a plus until I noticed it was dirty. This is listed as a smoking location therefore I assumed the extra money and/or expensive cleaning fee would exclude smoking fees. Not the case. The patio is not accessible from in the house or I couldn’t find the key and there is an $80 smoking fee. He explained his “yard guy” to me but after a long night getting woken up to his personal foolishness was beyond me. It’s cute I love the look but it’s overpriced and overrated.

I had a lovely time at 286 Hermer... the house was clean, tidy, and Cassius' communication was great and he was very flexible with us. One tiny bit of constructive criticism... the house smelled very badly of cigarette smoke... other than that, the location, house, and overall experience was great! I have close friends a block away and would love the opportunity to book this location in the future.
