This comfortable one bedroom apartment is within easy reach of all the city centre amenities and only 5 minutes walk to the rail and bus stations. Aberdeen is a great base for exploring the north east area, the Cairngorms National Park, the whisky trail, the many castles. Please read our listing details carefully for important information regarding heating and pricing. About the space: The entrance to the property is for the sole use of our two apartments, ensuring privacy and quiet. As owners we live nearby enabling us to give a personal check-in and check-out. However for late arrivals we have an electronic entry system Heating In compliance with a fair usage policy the central heating included in the price will be available for 10 hours per day (e.g. 3 hours early morning, 7 hours late afternoon & evening. Extra heating is chargeable at the current rate. Occupancy Price Structure:- 1 guest = £65 per night 2 guests = £75 per night Safety and security The CCTV system in public areas ensures your security, while smoke and/or heat detection and carbon monoxide detectors maintain your safety. Externally audited Health and Safety practices including EICR, annual PAT. Registered Landlord The space: The comfortable lounge has an internet TV giving access to Netflix and other streaming platforms. The bedroom has a queen bed and is situated at the back of the house. The fully equipped dining kitchen has an oven, hob and microwave, while the utility area has a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Late Arrivals Although we prefer to greet our guests in person, we understand that circumstances don't always allow for early arrival. For late arrivals we have a pin code entry system. Guests will be given full instructions on how to access the property.
A superbly clean & tidy 2nd floor flat with a bit of a view, host would happily provide helpful knowledgeable local advice when will be needed. For heating use, it was written on 1 March 2023: "We aim for around 8 hours per work day and around 12 hours per leave day". It was pretty cold late Feb & early March 2023 (snowed on 6 March), with temperatures often hovering around 0C, & my 1st winter here in Aberdeen, so i asked for flexibility to use the heating whenever i was indoors, & turning it off when out, which was agreed. My heating use was very closely monitored in the flat each day. With warmer weather returning by end of March, this was no longer of any concern at all. Nor should this be for anyone not from a warmer climate. All in all, Allen listens & helps.
I very much enjoyed my week here. The flat was super clean, short walk from the train station, and had everything I needed for my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
This was my second stay at Allen’s place, having gone to Aberdeen for a work trip. As with my first stay, the place was spotlessly clean, Allen is fantastically easy to communicate with, and very hospitable. The flat has everything needed for a stay, and I would definitely return to stay if I visited Aberdeen in future.
Allen’s place is wonderful. Centrally located, Allen provided me with a map of the local area and directed me to nearby long stay parking (£6 for 24 hours). The accommodation is spotlessly clean and well presented throughout. There was WiFi throughout which enabled me to work from home when needed. Recommended if you’re visiting Aberdeen!
This apartment is in a listed building in a conservation area of Aberdeen. Known often as the 'Granite city' this title is reflected by the majority of the buildings in the city centre including this apartment building. The location is ideal for visiting His Majesty's Theatre which hosts the latest productions in music and drama. Even closer is the recently refurbished Music Hall, a popular venue for music, drama, comedy and exhibitions. If you prefer tranquillity, a relatively short walk will take you to Duthie park and to the riverside walk.
The apartment is 300 metres from the main street and city centre and only five minutes walk from the bus & rail station and ferry terminal. Everything is within easy reach without relying on transport or if you want to travel further afield that is easy tool
