Morgen is a great host! He quickly responded to requests and questions. The location is very quiet. The apartment is very nice and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable, always a concern when away from home, and I slept very well! I would stay here again when visiting with family and friends in Honesdale.

Morgen’s place was in a great location. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Although, it wasn’t the cleanest and it didn’t seem like he had gotten it professionally cleaned. There was some trash under the couch and it just didn’t seem super clean. You also have to remember, you are sharing the apartment with others that stay on the property. Their front door stayed open and you could see into their house when you walked by. Other than the cleanliness and it not being private, Morgen was a very responsive host and the location was great.

We are new to the area and in the house process currently so we needed to quickly have a place to stay last minute. We saw that Morgen has 5 properties in the area but didn’t scroll beyond many reviews but should have. While yes he is responsive which is great there was clearly some wild things that happened in this unit that were not cleaned before we arrived. Hole in the doors were covered with boards, the floor was filthy and stained (the house rules says no shoes), burn marks on the tv and floor, white powder places on the floor, tin foil pieces in the drawer... This was a spontaneous booking and I basically stayed awake for 6 hours until I could get in touch with the owner the next day to say we could not stay longer. He said he could get someone to clean that day but that should be done BEFORE a visit not during. We were refunded everything expect the 6 hours we were in the house. It has potential if cleaned properly, fixed, and checked after someone leaves and before a new guest

There is a $50 cleaning fee. Why use plywood to cover up some of the holes just replace the cheap doors. Clean the windowsills there’s dirt and bugs under each air conditioner. So many large stains on the sofa it needs to be replaced. Black grime on the refrigerator handle and on woodwork around doorways. The tv in the small bedroom is not hooked up. There is no security lock on the inside like when you stay at a hotel. It’s a shame Morgan is super nice but his place needs some work.
