Les Hirondelles (4 keys Clévacances) is a cottage formed from a renovated barn, which provides light airy accommodation. Open plan living is provided downstairs with the kitchen open to the dining room/sitting room making your stay convivial. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with their own private bathroom. The kitchen is well furnished with a separate laundry room. Your terrace at the front gives you a certain amount of privacy with it's trellis of honeysuckle, roses and clematis. Les Hirondelles in one of four holiday cottages lining the side of a courtyard of an old farmyard. They may be rented individually or by a group which could accommodate 22 people. The grounds and pool are large so you can maintain your privacy if wanted whilst profit by interacting with other guests as and when you paths pass. The heated outdoor pool is available for use between mid-May and early September.

Eclance is a small village nesting in rolling hills surrounded by fields and forests. It is a perfect rural retreat. There are many restaurants between 4-15 minutes drive. There is a bread van that comes early most days so we can organise fresh bread and french pastries delivered for when you wake up. We provide a book of walks many of which can be from your door. Our cottages are wonderfully placed on the edge of the champagne route and the Regional Natural park of the forest of the Orient with it's three large lakes, each dedicated to water sports, nature along with a number of sandy beaches. 5 minutes drive hidden away in a wooded valley is Nigloland amuselent park, great fun for the young and young at heart! Immerse yourself int he history of the area ranging from the start of the Order of the Templars, Napoleon and the world wars. The medieval city of Troyes with it's lovely architecture and the largest designer outlet shopping centre in Europe (so I am lead to belive!) is only 45 minutes away. For those who love wines, on top of the champagne vineyards just around the corner, there are the vineyards of Burgundy and Chablis in easy driving distance.
To maximise from your stay here, a car or your own transport is essential. Whilst there is a train service from Bar-sur-Aube (10 minutes drive), there no public transport to Eclance. For those bike or motorbike lovers, the roads around here are amazing with very little traffic.
