The cabin was secluded, peaceful, and relaxing. It was nice to wake up to the birds singing. The place was clean and the wifi was good. We enjoyed walking down to the pretty little creek behind the house. The bed is very soft. Fred was friendly and the rolls were fabulous. The owners live on the property, and there is another tiny house next door, but we had plenty of privacy. If you missed it in the description, there is no TV and there were no games or other activities provided, so bring your own entertainment. With T-Mobile, we had to use Wifi calling at the cabin, and outside of the house, internet and phone service was nonexistent in the area, something to be aware of, especially if you need your phone for directions. The door lock was a little tricky, and it took us a minute to figure out the lamps and fireplace. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was close enough to Nashville, Barren River Lake, and Mammoth Caves for day trips.

While it is a bit of a drive from Mammoth Cave and Bowling Green, I would 100% stay here again. The days were peaceful and slow, and watching the deer in the morning and evenings was amazing. The king sized bed was unbelievably comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. Having a space to sit inside and outside was so nice. The kitchen is quaint and cute and allowed us to save on food by cooking there instead of eating out. The dishes were clean but the pans and some utensils had rust on them, but we had brought a few pans of our own so it worked out! The fresh cinnamon rolls really made me feel like I was back in my childhood and added such a comforting touch to an already warm and welcoming space. Iris and Fred were so kind. I highly recommend this place if you truly want peace and relaxation.

This was our first experience with air bnb, at my wife's suggestion, we decided to try it out, and this was a great experience. We picked this location based on proximity close to friends in this area. The size was great for the two of us. It was relaxing and peaceful. (We had a doe visit on the first morning) I'm hoping it will be available the next time we come down to visit, because I would definitely like to stay here again. Very happy we didn't stay at a hotel.

Iris and Fred were super nice. This location was perfect for a laid back stress free weekend. We ate breakfast at Nannie Jo’s and it was delish. The fall weather was perfect for a nice kayaking trip down the Barren River. Would stay again.
