Wynand was a very responsive host and did everything to ensure our stay was the best one we have had! The apartment was ideally situated, right on the beachfront, local to everything, walking distance to shops and the beach. The sound of the waves at night was just magical!! During the day we caught sight of a few dolphins. The gardens, pool and extensive braai area was very clean and inviting.The building has a lovely cafe downstairs which served delicious breakfasts and sandwiches. The apartment was safe, secure and the guards on duty were very accommodating and supportive. The apartment provided all the essentials for our stay including the kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and that luxurious, power shower which AMAZING! Based on the following categories: cleanliness, facilities, location, comfort, value for money, I would give a scoring of 10/10. We would definitely book Wynand’s apartment again I highly recommend that you book with Wynand for your next holiday. Thank you!!

Clean and clutterfree inside of the flat. Nice clean bath towels and linen. Felt save with the secure gate and security guards. The flats are situated perfectly right on the beach. Very easy walk to the beach. Beach was cleaned daily and active life guards on the clock. Very unfortunate about the beach being closed for swimming the entire week we were there - but we still got to swim at the closeby main beach. (the rain and storms in December caused the sharknets to be damaged) Had a good laugh at ourselves googling how to operate the glasstop stove. Luckily we got around to operate it on day 2. The small take away shop on the groundfloor is a must! Awesome toasted sandwiches and chips. The geyser switch tripped out, but Wynand quickly got the plumber to sort it out without having any inconvenience. Unfortunately, on checkout only we realized that we needed additional black bags for the trash - next time we will remember to pack some. Ps. Got a tummy bug at Ushaka Water World

I don’t recommend. There is no daily cleaning service and you are not informed before you book the place. It’s not good if you are planning to stay more than one night because there is no cleaning detergents or even toilet paper. I don’t mind cleaning and washing the dishes but you also need to bring your own cleaning detergents while your family is supposed to be on holiday. The place will only be cleaned once you check out for us it was a nightmare because we stayed for 3nights. It’s a very old building but the flat is beautifully renovated inside. The shower was not clean when we got there also that shower needs maintenance the water spills all over the bathroom. The braai, pool and play areas very clean and user friendly
