The place has lots of room and is very comfortable. With the windows open you can turn on the ceiling fan in the living room and still be comfortable, and there is a powerful portable fan available if additional airflow is needed. Jane herself is amazing - great recommendations, very helpful, and overall a great person. I recommend chatting with her as she may have some tips. The area is by a main road so there is noise throughout the day, however it does quiet down at nights. Walking can be a bit interesting, but for some goods, bread, and fish it is a short walk uphill, less than 5 minutes. 10 minutes walking downhill will get you to a gas station store with some more goods, and then 10 minutes more on mostly level ground gets you to Foodland or downtown, with lots of stores and vendors inbetween.

473 Harbourview is well-located - a short walk to the bus, 25 minutes into downtown St. George’s or 25 minutes “up” to Fort Frederick. Jane lives on the floor above 473 Harbourview so she’s accessible when needed. She’s a friendly “super host” with lots of local recommendations and helpful tips. The kitchen is well equipped, the A/C (bed room only) worked well and having in-suite laundry was a bonus. Jane thoughtfully lent us her walking sticks for Mount Qua Qua! We can’t wait to return. P.S. if this is your first visit to Grenada, consider taking the ferry and spending at least one or two nights @ Carriacou. It was a trip hilight for us.

Jane was an great host, flight in was delayed but kept in touch and was waiting on arrival. Welcome box of drinks and snacks to help settle in a fabulous, spacious place. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is there and AC in bedroom a godsend. Jane lives upstairs so was always around if needed and checked everything was ok when passing otherwise unobtrusive. Lots of information on local attractions and amenities. Very flexible on leaving times to help get ready for the flight out which was appreciated. Next time I am in Grenada I will check if this is available first.

Jane was amazing and so was the space. Exactly as pictured, with so many small helps that other hosts usually do not think about. Seasonings in the cabinets, a fully stocked cabinet of dishes and cookware, snacks and drinks, and of course the beautiful view. If you aren’t used to walking in the Caribbean, or have fear of walking without sidewalks, be sure to have your transportation situated. The lane is a busy road, but only a few minutes walk to the nearest bus and only seconds to the carenage or town if driving. Definitely a convenient location. As a frequent visitor of the island, I will definitely be booking this space again.

There is a lovely view. Cruise ships arriving are visible every morning. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen is fully equipped and Jane supplied nice snacks. She had a book of recommendations for dining, etc. jane was very kind in giving us a ride to our worship services on Sunday morning. There is a Huge shower in the bathroom and the air conditioning in the bedroom worked well. Good towels provided. Bring your own wash cloths if you use them. The washer had soap provided and Jane brought down a drying rack which worked well. However, it was very hot while we were there and the bathroom has no exhaust fan so it’s very humid after getting out of the shower. Also, there is no cross breeze because all windows are on one side of the apt. The Venetian blind in the kitchen/living area was missing the normal operating cord so when I raised it I felt it might break. Jane said she expects to get a screen for the sliding ‘front door’ which would allow opening.
