Great place to stay. Very comfortable and close to the beach, walking paths and shops. And if parkrun is your thing, like it is mine, the course runs right past the back gate and it's only 700m to the start. The fire at night kept us warm. Kitchen was useful for making meals. Chromecast on the tv was great to stream movies/shows from your own device. It's a great, cosy cottage that feels like home :)

Charm, character and comfort are some of our favourite things about Tikalara. The garden and exterior of the home are lovely, inside beautiful hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, a lovely country style kitchen and plenty of space to relax by the gas log fire. A short walk to the beach, river, cafes and shops makes the location ideal, even the kids were able to make the distance on foot. Lois and Vern’s home had everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday in Port Fairy.

Fantastic home in a perfect location! The nights were so quiet and peaceful. The house seemed to keep going as we walked in, surprisingly larger than expected. We had a wonderful stay and I was so grateful for the extra washroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Great place to stay while in Port Fairy. Very centrally located to the town center and the beach. Cozy little home for a family getaway.
