Villa Palmento offers a unique escape in the heart of Sicilian wine country, perfect for our family, including kids and grandparents. Hosts Lynda and Gipi exceeded expectations, ensuring a memorable stay. Lynda responded promptly to pre and post booking inquiries and helped us curate an itinerary with Aldo, the property manager. He arranged a van pickups and days of local tours to surrounding towns, markets and wineries. Lynda organized a special meal prepared by Chef Marco, complete with a sommelier-led wine tasting. The villa is spacious yet cozy, with elegantly furnished rooms and a well-equipped kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee pods and basic groceries. The rooms have washrooms that are clean and provided fresh towels, soap and shampoo. Despite being a bit cool in April, the pool's setting and views were stunning. I highly recommend Villa Palmento for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Thanks to Lynda, Gipi, and Aldo for their outstanding hospitality.

La maison est vraiment superbe, charmante et très bien rénovée et équipée. Les environnements sont superbes. L’endroit est assez reculé, parfait si on cherche le calme et une localisation loin des sentiers battus.

This must be one of the most peaceful places we've ever been to. The villa is very cosy and equipped with everything you'd need. Aldo is the best host ever, as he responded to whatever we needed. As for Caltagirone, this is one of the least commercial cities in Sicily, which is amazing because it helped at keeping it authentic.

Beautifully restored villa in a valley 15min drive from Caltagirone. Lynda was a very communicative and helpful host. Aldo is a fantastic help on the ground to help with any advice, to arrange the daily cleaning or dinners and even for quickly pointing you in the direction of medical or veterinary assistance! The covered terrace is an excellent space with a dining area, sitting area and table tennis. The pool is a lovely design and welcome relief from the sun. It's maybe slightly on the small side if you have both a full house and full annex of guests but it's in a good spot and well maintained. Really peaceful garden and glorious view down the valley. Caltagirone is close by and worth exploring for ceramics and cannoli. (If you're keen to see the southeast corner of the island, it's worth bearing in mind that other worthwhile explorations are 1hr+ drive away: Ragusa, Modica, Noto, Syracuse.) Overall a lovely Sicilian villa in a remote setting, thank you to Aldo and Lynda
