We stayed for thanksgiving to visit family. The house is very large. Host was helpful to accommodate an early check in. About 4 blocks from town, which we found easy for walking. This was our fourth year visiting for holidays and love the area. Aunt Helen’s house is very outdated, which wasn’t particularly our style. The second half bath is actually in the basement with cement steps. I felt that the house was surface clean, but needs a deep cleaning. Under furniture very dusty, you’ll notice dust/dirt on the window blinds and ceiling corners, ceiling fans. We ended up leaving early due to be uncomfortable. For some this would be fine. Particularly for myself, we will definitely stay elsewhere next year.

It is a great place to go and stay, especially if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Things to do close by, especially if you enjoy the lakes and fishing. The home is well stocked with things you would need. Beds are comfortable.

Aunt Helen’s was a great place to stay. There were six adults in our party. We managed very well with the one and a half bathrooms.

Home was perfect for what we needed. Simple and clean! Town of Walhalla is super cute and since we went on a Holiday week there was a carnival and lots do to! Keeping this one bookmarked in case we return next July. Alann proivded plenty of notes and clear instructions on entering and leaving. Things were very smooth.
