Excellent location for exploring Northumbria, walks start from the cottage into the Cheviot Hills and a short drive to the coastline, Dunstanburgh Castle, Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne. The accommodation is very comfortable, has a well appointed kitchen, and felt like home from home. The hosts Tracy & Rolly are very hospitable and friendly.

The cottage is a wonderful relaxing place to spend a few days. Unfortunately the weather was not kind enough for us to enjoy the dark skies but we will certainly return when the skies will be clearer.

A beautiful converted barn in the most idyllic spot, it gave us the perfect getaway. The property was spotless, with really comfortable beds, a powerful shower and deep bathtub and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is a really rural spot but also easy to access fantastic walking routes and Alnwick, Bamburgh and other must sees of the region. Tracy was a fantastic host, and we loved our short stay.
