Airbnb propre, bien rangé, et accueillant. Cuisine assez bien équipée. Draps propre et serviettes fournie 👍. Hôte très réactif pour donner des informations et très compréhensif par rapport à la flexibilité de l’heure d’arrivée. Très satisfait de notre séjour dans ce logement !

I’d booked this stay for my parents as it was close to my place. Communication was prompt, place was clean and kitchen was reasonably stocked with utensils. I do think it was premium pricing for a medium sized attic-apartment but one could probably attribute it to rising cost of real estate in London.

Altido’s place was fine for a place to crash after a day of exploring London. It is an easy walk from the tube station. It was clean and nicely decorated. There is no common area, only bedrooms and a tiny kitchenette with a couple of stools. There is no lock box and someone has to physically check you in. We waited on the street at least 45 minutes as we were unable to time our arrival perfectly. The check in process was very unusual-our greeter spent about 20 minutes taking random photos of the flat-cracks in the walls, scuffs on the floor, fans, a bowl of keys, and my ID. When questioned he said this was protocol for all Air BnBs, but we have never encountered this in seven countries. We were also required to show him we could lock and unlock the front door like children. It would have been helpful to learn how to work the tricky tub drain or the safe we later found in the closet, but those were not mentioned. The neighbors on the ground floor were very friendly and helpful.

Going by the listing description, all interactions were supposed to be with the agency Altido; it does not say we have to deal with a persistent so called landlord in the premise. We were continuously being harassed by the so called landlord saying we were very noisy. But I would challenge anyone, unless you know how to float in air, there is no way you could walk on that floor without it creaking. I do agree that the Victorian architecture and the neighborhood looks beautiful, and similarly wouldn't be surprised to hear the floors creaking. But to have the so called landlord on our nose throughout the stay; we even had them knocking at our door at 10.30pm in the night. The kitchen literally has an induction heater, two utensils and around 6 glasses, thats it...no spoons, knives, bowls nothing. There is no washer/dryer, no dishwasher (expected since there are no dishes). Agree that these were not explicitly mentioned in the listing, but these are things we expect from a 'basic kitchen'
