An amazingly beautiful part of the world. We loved our stay at Darling’s Island. The cottage was perfect - cosy, well equipped, great location right on the water with the “kissing bridge” (restored covered bridge) right at our doorstep. Even comes with canoe, kayaks and paddle boards you can borrow. Taya was a great host. This is an older cottage that has been lovingly used and look after by Taya’s family for several generations so expect an older, well loved place to settle in for a stay. You won’t be disappointed.

The kissing bridge cottage was well equipped for a weekend away with my partner and preschooler! Nestled just outside Hampton with beautiful water views and cozy furnishings.

Kissing Bridge Cottage on Darling's Island was exactly as described, and we were very comfortable there. We were in Saint John for an event, so we didn't have as much time at the property as it deserved and didn't get to try out the kayaks or canoe, but it's an absolutely beautiful spot. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed their swims in the river! Taya was very responsive when I couldn't find a couple of kitchen items I was looking for (they were there -- I just didn't spot them!), and the house had everything we needed -- including a flashlight that was helpful for late-night outings with the dogs. We're also really grateful that our dogs were not just tolerated but welcomed. It is a vintage cottage that has clearly been cared for with love, and I only wish we'd had time to enjoy all it had to offer!
