Stayed here with 3 families. The scenery is beautiful and the house is clean and comfortable. Hot tub was awesome! Lots to do within an hour drive but need to plan for food and grocery shopping while you are out, there’s nothing within a several min drive. We did have some trouble initially with getting to the property, but plug in the coordinates on maps. Also some issue with getting through the outer gate but Heimaleiga was responsive, you have to call them initially to open the gate and then there is a mobile phone you can use for the rest of your stay. There is a travel brochure that they will send you through Air B N B with a ton of info about the place but I didn’t get mine until after we had arrived. I think this would have helped. We were there in mid August and the bedroom got very hot at night, we had to open the windows but there are no screens on the windows so a bunch of flies got in. Screens on at least some of the windows would be my biggest recommendation!

Five stars for the place. It was great. One star for the property management company. To gain access to the property you have to call the company and they have to call someone to lift the gate. I had stayed here twice previously and there was one incident when they did not answer my call and thus I could not get access to the Airbnb. I was willing to let that slide. This time out of a 7-day stay, there were five days when they did not answer the call. I had to call and call and call hoping for an answer. Sometimes we just parked and walked. If you are going have a ludicrous system where access is dependent upon the property management answering their phone, then having a 70+% fail rate in terms of answering the phone is appalling. It’s too bad because the place is nice. I was hoping to stay here again in the future, but after this last experience, I will certainly look elsewhere. Get a gate with a code or a key fob and make that available to the guests!!!

We had an awesome stay. The house is in a beautiful and quiet location. We loved the view from our deck. I would recommend it to anyone.

This place was great. It was incredibly peaceful and perfect for a group of nine. Took full advantage of the very nice grill and induction stove. One structure sleeps seven with one bathroom, while the second structure had its own separate bathroom and sleeps two. The second structure is a pull-out couch, but it is plenty comfortable. The hot tub is very easy to use. The only issue was that instructions for where to bring the garbage were unclear. To find the garbage, put the following coordinates in GPS 64.213335, -21.236054 (64°12'48.0"N 21°14'09.8"W). Also, the only way to get access to the driveway is to call the property management people to have them raise the gate so be sure that you have an international plan for your cel phone.
