Jose Manuel is an amazingly kind and thoughtful host. He was right there with any request, and is trying very hard to make his guests feel comfortable and taken care of. His garden is beautiful, and he was very generous with its bounty. The place is very new, and very clean. I would say the kitchen is decently equipped, I wouldn't have minded having a few more pots and some storage containers. I really appreciated and could feel how much he cares about his guests' happiness. The biggest disappointments I had were possibly related to the fact that I was only semi on vacation, so I was spending a lot of time at the apartment. It is located directly next to a busy highway, so for about 18 hours a day, there is a considerable amount of fast moving cars whizzing within 2 meters of the building. Also, although it does have some internet access, the access in the apartment could be kind of sketchy. It is much better when you are sitting outside. As soon as you walk a block away from the apartment, things get much more peaceful, and there are lovely walks in the area through nice neighborhoods and forest. We did have some trouble finding the place at first, as there is another building on the same road with the same house number within a kilometer of the apartment. Please request some landmarks from the host to make finding it easier.
