Yes! Yes! Yes! The John Denham House is a treasure in sleepy Monticello. We live close by and are so glad Pat’s place is in our area. The grounds and exterior of the house are lovely, cozy, and regal. I felt at home through highly-responsive communication with Pat leading up to our stay. My husband and I celebrated our 11-year anniversary and I reserved the room as a surprise to him. He was so pleased! We were charmed by our room, The Gold Anniversary Suite. She thought of everything, from robes and slippers in the chifforobe, to a comfy couch, two suitcase racks, candles and matches, a small TV for minimal distractions, smell-good conditioner and shampoo, and black-out blinds behind the lace curtains. It’s a small paradise. You’ll have to try her pumpkin spice pancakes that are buttery and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They don’t even need syrup! Pat and Trinity are kind, personable, and fun. We know you’ll love this place. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Things that really stand out are the breakfast and how it was served, the availability of Ms. Pat, and how much I liked staying in a bed and breakfast as compared to having a whole house to ourselves. There were a few hiccups during our stay but Ms. Pat communicated well and fixed anything we mentioned which is fantastic. This stay didn’t feel as if Ms Pat was new to this at all and she seems to have a well-oiled machine. We travel through this town periodically and, as we do, we will think fondly of this place. And if we happen to return for an overnight stay, I hope we can stay here again.

Pat’s BnB was fabulous! Easy access, clean and comfy room, and a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed a late evening on the front porch. Very pleasant.
