A cute, cosy garden room - ‘The Little Garden Sleep Out’ - with a small ensuite bathroom, in the countryside 10 mins drive from Palmerston North. Self Check-In, bagels & jam and fresh farm milk , late check out sometimes possible at no extra charge. The Little Garden Sleep Out is a small room with kitchenette and ensuite bathroom in the garden of our property. A double brass bed adds charm and provides a comfortable place to sleep and the ensuite bathroom has a shower, a toilet and a basin. A couple of steps lead up to the door of the Sleep Out with a hand rail. The room has loads of natural light and views across the fields of our farm as well as views of trees and gardens around our place. It is a cosy place to come home to at the end of a day of traveling or after a day of activities. The space is private, cosy and quiet, with the kitchenette stocked with bagels and jam as well as tea and coffee and fresh organic milk (usually from a local organic farm ). If you're coming for a week or more, we offer 20% discount. We can set up the bedroom space in standard mode as shown in the main pictures or in the alternative layout, with the bed pushed to the side, as in the final image of the bedroom space. Just let us know 24 hrs before your arrival if you'd like the second option - it works well for one person and with the advantage of a table / workspace. It is 10 mins drive to Palmerston North, a well-serviced provincial town, and 15-18 mins drive to Massey University and Research Institutes such as AgResearch, Plant and Food Research and Fonterra. A 15 minute drive will have you at the check in desk at Palmerston North Airport, where you can board your 1 hr flight to Auckland before picking up international connections to the US, Singapore, Australia and other destinations. There is parking at our place 15 metres from the entrance to The Garden Sleep Out. We live on a small organic farm with orchards, vegetables, sheep and cows. It is a great place to be. Our house is 10 metres across the garden from The Sleep Out.
