A very nice Chalet in great conditions.

This is a nice, well-equipped chalet in a quiet location slightly up the mountain from the centre of Fiesch. Our check-in was deficient, but probably an isolated incident. Important to note that you really need a car to reach and use this chalet! We were told it was a 10 minute walk from the ski and railway station (which are in the same place) but it is at least 15 minutes downhill and over a very slippery treacherous path in snow conditions. There is absolutely no way you could drag luggage up that path and the road route is a very long walk indeed, probably 30-40 minutes up hill. We felt we were seriously misled on this access point and AirBnB does not disclose exact location on booking. We did question this and the assurances we received in writing were economical with the distance, let alone the viability of the route with luggage! Note, too, that the directions from the station should say right, not left, up through the old buildings roughly opposite the church as a result ( I guess) of the station having moved in the last couple of years further out of town. On reflection, this fact might also explain the inaccurate estimates of walking time from the (old) station to the chalet. Coming by car, we would use again; on foot by train we would not wish to re-visit, winter or summer.

Zilpa‘s Vails Chalet Ist sehr schön gelegen! perfekt für 4 Personen! Die Kommunikation mit Zilpa war hervorragend! wir waren zu dritt und hatten mehr als genug Platz, Die Küche ist klein aber hat alles was es braucht (ausser einen Racletteofen, den kann man ja auch selber mitbringen) Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens Empfehlen! wir geben ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We had a lovely stay with our family of 4 in the house in Fiesch. Very well equipped and super clean. We would love to come back some time!
