Serra farms is a beautiful and peaceful property. Would like to visit again and spend some nice slow paced days there. Suraj Anna is a very nice host. Makes nice Maggi and gets us good food for breakfast.

Ayanna was very hospitable and took very good care of us. The place is in the middle of a coffee plantation and is very peaceful and serene. Perfect for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. 10/10 would recommend

We wanted a pet friendly place in Coorg for our dog to have a good time while we vacayed. Thus we zeroed in on Serra Farm House as it fulfilled our requirements. While booking, we were not sure whether we had made the right choice. The navigation on Google maps is accurate only upto Kushalnagar, post which we need to rely on the host, Mr Aiyanna's instructions. But when we reached Kushalnagar, we were pleasantly surprised when Mr Aiyanna was waiting on the road to lead us to the home. Then, upon reaching the home, we were warmly welcomed in by Chandramma and her son Shyam, who in turn were waiting for us with a refreshing welcome drink. The entire check in process was very smooth. The home is located on a coffee estate not far from both Kushalnagar and Madikeri. And it looks much better in real than in pictures. Our dog and our toddler niece immediately started exploring every nook and cranny of the place. Post the check in, we found the rooms very tidy and organised upon entering inside the house. The rooms, if not huge, are spacious enough for 2-3 people. The bed linen, blankets, towels etc provided were all clean and smelling fresh. As mentioned earlier, there is a lot of open space around the house for running around, which was used to the full by our dog and our niece. In fact, we felt completely safe when we left our dog back home when we went out to explore Madikeri. The house being in a coffee estate, provided beautiful views of the coffee garden surrounding it. The weather being inclement, we did not go for the plantation walk fearing leeches, but it is definitely something to do. The caretaker staff, Chandramma and her son Shyam, are really nice people. They attended to all our requests with a smile. A special shout out goes for Chandramma's cooking! We had four meals and two barbeques for the duration of our stay, and each one was DELICIOUS! She cooked as per our preference and readied the food on time always. Shyam too attended to us for the bonfire, and took us to a good place to buy spices. All this despite them knowing limited Hindi and English...This too was not an issue since Mr Aiyanna is very fluent in Hindi and was always reachable. We had a pleasant stay at Serra Farm House, owing to the good care taken by Chandramma, Shyam and Mr Aiyanna, the delicious food fed to us on every meal and the genuine affection shown to both canine and human guests!

The place is located in midst of a serene coffee estate. The stay was really pleasant with morning beginning with chirping birds something that we miss in cities. Maya was very proactive in sharing all the details and was in constant touch throughout. Her brother Aiyanna was also very helpful and kind to give us a morning walk through the estate. Last but not the least the caretaker Chandrika was caring and prepared wonderful coffee and meals. Thank you for hosting us!
