A beautiful home in an absolutely stellar location! It's literally right in the middle of all the action and yet provides a private sanctuary where we slept very well. The craftsmanship and woodworking joinery tell a seafaring tale and provide a constant visual feast and nautical ambience. Very shipshape all around with pleasing art and curios. Do stay here!

Passamos o Reveillón na casa do Eduardo e foram dias muito agradáveis. A localização é um diferencial para quem quer visitar Paraty com conforto sem precisar se restringir a um quarto de hotel. Fica no centro histórico, próxima de restaurantes, do comércio e cercada pela arquitetura colonial de Paraty. Nos dias em que acordamos cedo tiramos lindas fotos com as ruas de Paraty completamente vazias. A casa é muito bem cuidada e equipada para uma estadia confortável. Além disso, Eduardo foi atencioso e enviou instruções claras sobre a casa - além de dicas acerca de passeios/restaurantes na região. Me sinto muito confortável para recomendar a hospedagem na casa.

The location of the house could not be better. It is located in the historic center, close to everything. Eduardo was very easy to communicate with and flexible with checking and checkout times. He gave great tips for what to do in and around Paraty. The house has two upstairs suites with air conditioning and comfortable beds. There are dedicated and safe parking spots two blocks from the house - an excellent benefit for a house in the historic center. We would love to return to Eduardo's house.

Eduardo is a super host! He did everything possible to ensure that our trip to Paraty was the best it could be. He proactively provided over 20 pages of recommendations on things to do around the area, sent a map with pictures and explanations on parking - giving up his parking space for our use. He set up everything for a smooth check in and allowed us to take our time on check out day. His home is beyond lovely and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring old town and getting the feel of the area. We would definitely come back to stay at his place to further explore the area. There is so much to do and see. Eduardo is very responsive and caring, doing everything to make our stay enjoyable. We loved his home and his style of hosting guests. His home was decorated in his style and is not the typical barren, personality-less home you usually find for rent. He trusted his guests to enjoy his home as if we were close friends. It was refreshing and very enjoyable. Best yet!
