The large supermarket is open 365 days a year from 8:00 to 22:00. The many polders, bulb fields, woods and heathland and the internationally renowned Zwanenwater nature reserve make Callantsoog an ideal base for cycling and walking tours. Attractive historical towns like Schagen, Alkmaar and Hoorn are just a stone's throw away. Culture lovers can indulge themselves in one of the many museums in Den Helder.
