The place was decent other than the mattresses for the spare beds were pretty lumpy. We didn’t ask for any sort of help with those but I feel the owner should consider replacing them. Oven was turned on whether you liked it or not if it was plugged in. Kitchen has very basic appliances and utensils but served us just fine(except for the lack of a toaster). When we first got there it was suggested we communicate with Carolina through WhatsAp which is fine but we asked if there was a toaster, responded right away but ask for an additional pillow and she didn’t respond until I sent another msg through Airbnb. After that communication was spot on. The neighborhood seems poor and run down but everyone is nice and friendly. Lots of garbage floating in under the suite but they try to clean it as much as possible. All and all I would consider staying there again but would probably want to see other options just cause.

We loved our stay. The bungalow was beautiful and spacious. The chairs and hammock on the deck were fun to hang out in. The beds were comfortable and l loved the loft with the upstairs deck. My family was able to relax and just hang out. We found a guy with a water taxi who took us to the other islands during the day and we caught a regular taxi that took us to Bocas Town at night. The bungalow was right over the water and we saw sea stars and fish below the decks. The neighborhood looks off putting at first BUT everyone was friendly and we felt completely safe hanging out or leaving our things. We really loved the bungalow!

Koko’s place is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had a good stay. Koko was very friendly and helpful. However, the neighborhood was a bit different than what we expected. It was def a quite a bit walk to center of Bocas del Toro but there were taxis and minibuses running so we used them most of the time. You could see garbage here and there when you walked around along with bad smells from time to time. It’s a neighborhood where lots of locals live so you get an authentic experience as well.
