A detached, recent garage annex conversion, which forms part of a 5 bedroom detached property that is also available for short term let’s for a further 11 guests. The annexe is modern with fully fitted kitchen and shower room with separate attic bedroom with king size low attic bed. Perfect individuals or for couples. Virgin Broadband, cable TV and parking for 1 car is provided. Contactless self check in operated and separate living accommodation. Single nights may be available upon request. The annex is part of a converted detached garage and former piggery which has been done to a very good standard, and is part of a 5 bedroom detached property (main property also available for short let’s). The main area is an open plan kitchen and sitting area, the kitchen fully equipped and comprising of gas hob, fan oven, fridge freezer and full size dishwasher. Also equipped with everything required for meals in. Off of this area is a small but fully equipped shower room with towels and bathroom soaps provided. Up the stairs takes you to the open and galleried attic space with a low, attic style king size bed. Please note this area has a low ceiling height (5'7" in the centre) so may not be suitable for very tall people with bad backs. Fast Virgin broadband is provided (code is in welcome pack) as well as cable TV. As this lovely cosy space is open plan, please note that you will get standard low level background noise from the fridge freezer (and dishwasher if put on) so please be aware if you are a light sleeper. Parking for 1 car is available directly outside the door on private driveway.

The annex at The Old Piggery was brilliant for us. It is small but cleverly laid out and charming. We loved the quiet and peace with bird song. As others have said: very easy to get into Bath by bus or taxi ( we don't have a car). We explored the countryside around this side of Bath on foot. The location was perfect for us.
The city of Bath is located at the bottom of a valley and we are situated in the small village of Combe Down at the top of the hill on the south side of Bath. Combe Down village (3/4 minute walk) has a small and well stocked Coop, as well as the amazing Darling Deli, that sell lovely freshly made food, as well as home made frozen meals - just put in the oven! The village also has a lovely park with a children’s play area. There are also a number of local pubs within a few minutes walk.
A mile along the road, there is also a large Sainsburys if you wish to do a larger shop for an extended stay.
We hope you will rate our location on the area where we live, rather than the distance from the city centre.
We are less than about a mile from the centre/bus station/Bath Spa train station, but at the top of a steep hill which is an enjoyable walk down into town if you are not in a rush. Alternatively, the number 2 bus leaves regularly and drops off from the top of our Lane, less than 100m away. This bus runs to and from the main city bus station, which is right next to Bath Spa train station.
Taxis operate regularly in the area and are very fast and responsive. Numbers provided in the welcome pack.
