From the photos in the hallway and the garden decorations to the modern balcony facing (and only literally a few steps away from!) Camber Sands’ famous dunes, this property is perfect for those who love the beach and sea. If you hate sand this is not the property for you-a real beach experience. On the ground floor is the open plan kitchen and living room, the utilities cupboard, a bathroom/shower room and one of the bedrooms which faces the dunes and opens onto the veranda. The bedroom contains a double bed and a sofa that can be opened into another single bed and suitable for a child only, and the bathroom is equipped with an overhead shower head and toilet. There is a washing machine in the utilities cupboard, and the kitchen contains a large dining table and all necessary amenities (including a few extras such as a Nespresso machine and a George Foreman grill). The bi-fold doors open onto a patio with a picnic table and a charcoal BBQ. The garden is secure and fitted with decking and two sun loungers. On the first floor are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a balcony. Both the bedrooms are white and breezy, containing double beds and plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom is fitted with a shower bath and toilet. The balcony overlooks the dunes and has a small table, perfect for sitting and having drinks in the evening in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s place. The house itself is lovely, really bright and airy, with a terrace and balcony at the front and an enclosed private garden at the back to enjoy the sunshine! The location is also brilliant, as the house is right next to the beach and within walking distance of some great places to eat and drink. We particularly enjoyed The Owl which is just up the road and is dog friendly with very friendly and helpful staff and great food. We will miss our walks on the beach in the morning and evenings! Stephanie is also a great host, really friendly and very responsive with some good recommendations. Thanks again Stephanie for a great stay and we hope to come again!
Just had a gorgeous weekend stay with family at the beautiful Sandylane. It’s just as described and exactly as it looks in the photos. House is very modern with everything that you could possibly need in it. We loved the location, it’s perfect for the beach (which I still think is one of the best in the UK) and also under a 10 min drive into Rye which is the most beautiful town. You have a few bars and food places within a 2 min walk from the house too. Stephanie was a fabulous host, very helpful, always providing info before we needed to ask for it and lots of great tips and recommendations in the welcome pack too. If you book to go, you will not be disappointed. Top tip - if you get a sunny evening make sure you cross the road and watch the sunset from the beach it was magical. And if you can make it up to the top of the sand dune the view of sunset from there was epic! Thanks for a fantastic stay Stephanie! X

We had a great stay thank you. Good information and lovely cake when we arrived. All was very comfortable and house was well equipped. We discovered ‘Owls’ the pub along the way was very welcoming with delicious food which made my birthday a double treat.

In the summer, Sandylane is in the prime spot to spend the day on the beach with family and friends, or visit one of the many brilliant local bars, pubs and restaurants to enjoy the long summer evenings. In the winter, the beach is just as beautiful (if not more so!) as the summer and it is an ideal place to relax, walk dogs, cycle along nearby coastal routes and visit local historical towns such as Rye or even Hastings.
