Le logement est très agréable et il possède les équipements de base (Linge, savon, etc.), certains ayant probablement été laissés par d'anciens "locataires". Je m'y suis sentie très bien pendant mon séjour de 2 semaines! De plus, l'hôte a été réactive quant à mes questions et l'heure d'arrivée était flexible. Je partage seulement quelques points qui pour moi n'ont pas été un problème, mais que vous devez, je pense, savoir: ---> • logement au 2ème sans ascenceur • logement situé en pente/montée • logement partagé (1/2 autres personnes qui ont effectué une réservation chez cette hôte et qui ont chacune leur chambre) En bref, je recommande vivement :)

Sijainti oli miellyttävä ja lähellä muun muassa Hongdaeta! Huoneen ilma oli melko huono, ja havaittavissa oli myös hometta seinän ja katon rajassa. En kuitenkaan viettänyt huoneessa paljoa aikaa, joten se ei vaikuttanut majoittumiseeni juurikaan. Muuten majoittuminen oli miellyttävää.

PROS: This apartment is in a great location for people who want to live in a quieter part of the city. It is right next to a small mountain with lots of hiking trails, and just a few blocks away from a lovely park system. The bus stop and train station are also nearby, as well as a variety of coffee shops and restaurants to visit. You can easily get to Sinchon/ Hongdae within twenty minutes. The view from this room is lovely, especially in the morning (although the balcony is a bit dirty). Previous residents have left a lot of extra things behind, especially toiletries and dry goods, which are free to use. The host has a wonderful mission to connect foreign visitors with each other to create a sense of community, and she likes to get to know her tenants personally. CONS: This is an old building with a big mold problem. The entryway has two very large mold spots on the ceiling, which had several centimeters of growth when I first moved in. Despite several attempts to have it addressed, it was only wiped off with toilet paper by the host. She is currently waiting on the apartment landlord to fix it. If you are sensitive to mold, as I am, I suggest avoiding this apartment. Do be aware that the cleaning is done by the residents themselves (including you, if you stay here), not the host. In addition, this apartment is on a very steep hill and on the top floor of a building with no elevator. I enjoyed the exercise, but this may be a concern to some. Also, do be aware that the bedroom doors do not have locks. I didn't realize that before I moved in, and was a little uncomfortable that I couldn't secure my room at night since I had two male housemates. Finally, the host and I experienced several instances of poor communication. Her English is at an intermediate level, so we sometimes had difficulty understanding each other. This was especially challenging when we needed to work through the mold situation via Airbnb because our case worker only spoke English. The host's style of management will work well for you if you are pretty flexible and relationship-oriented, but it isn't great for people who want a more structured, professional situation. Overall, this wasn't the situation I wanted for a long-term stay in Korea so I moved out early. However, there were a lot of nice things about it too, which might be more important for someone with different circumstances than mine. Hope this helps!
