This was our 2nd stay at Shangri-Lodge and we could not be more pleased! From the beautiful, peaceful views to the friendly hosts and their puppers. We will keep coming back to this welcoming property every time we are in the area because of the tidiness, responsive/helpful hosts, quaint downtown square and all around peaceful feel that the property has to offer. Hands down one of our favorite stays!

I'm a multi-time guest at the Shangri-Lodge and it is truly one of my happy places. I was in town for the total eclipse this time, and the property proved to be the ideal place to experience it with the many wide open spaces and places to sit with unobstructed views of the sky and surroundings. The bluebonnets were in full force as well, and I enjoyed watching the myriad hummingbirds at the feeder and flowers next to the cottage as I sipped my morning coffee. Stefanie and Tom are true superhosts-- they care very much that their guests have a great experience, and have thought of everything to help make that happen. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

I appreciated the details in this cottage- Everything was clean, refrigerator was stocked with water and juice and fresh baked goods too! Hosts including the dogs were friendly and welcoming.
