Such a wonderful place for holiday , comfortable and cozy , you can get everything you need . Eithne is very helpful, I would like to thank her for her hospitality and generosity. Definitely we will come back again.

Really enjoyed our stay in Rose Cottage. A great location for walks with the dog. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need.

Had a lovely stay in Rose Cottage, lovely lakes and forests nearby, great food in the Lough Bawn Hotel, even tried our hand at the local Bingo in the Community Hall.........great craic, cosy and comfy accomodation, would definitely recommend 👍

I booked Rose Cottage for two nights as my family and I were attending a family christening. I was really looking forward to it as I had never used Airbnb before. I liked the idea of a house rather than a hotel. We collected the keys from a hotel and on arriving to outside of property seemed good. Ongoing inside the kitchen seemed good , sitting room adequate but there was musty odor but appeared OK. when i went upstairs musty odor continued and I viewed the rooms ,I inspected one pillow on the single bed and was not hygienic and was not fit for use , there were protective cover s on the adjacent bed pillows so I did nt check them. We knew after the condition of the pillow we were certainly not going to stay. I looked in the second bedroom with double on its own , there was old bedlinen and on the sheet there was hairs in numerous places. My husband kindly took photos. We rang around hotels in Cavan to stay but they were fully booked. Then we had to travel to Monaghan for the only hotel we could get available. our son was disappointed and stressed as we were. we missed out on spending quality time with my sister in law and her family. I rang host 9pm or just after with no answer. I messaged her to explain and informed her we dropped back the keys. I asked for money back and she denied her Bedding was the source of the problem even after uploading photos . she explained she did nt believe her bedding was the source of my discomfort as she put it. I assured her I was not looking for perfection or imperfection just cleaness. she did not give me my money back I had to get onto Airbnb and then she offered 84.89 euros or there abouts which clearly is insulting as we did not stay. I would advice with young children take extra caution with stairs as there is a big space on top of landing . I certainly will not be back. Hopefully her standards of Cleaness will be addressed by next paying guest. To not offer my full refund clearly showed how she valued me as a paying customer. I did not stay either night and not given full refund was not OK. Host explained she checked bedding herself and there was no issue s ? I would have loved to have given a positive review but I really can't on this occasion. My first Airbnb experience has not being positive . when I showed host the photos she did nt acknowledge them and asked why was I checking bedding?? Informed her it was priority the health and safety of my family and I have every right to check linen /bedding before use.

The cottage was really lovely, had a lovely time there and would recommend. Very good communication from Eithne.
