e avete in programma un soggiorno a Panarea e siete in gruppo non potete trovare nulla di meglio, a mio avviso: la villa (termine riduttivo) è spettacolare. Le stanze sono immerse nel verde e regalano viste senza fiato dalle terrazze. La cucina è grande è dotata di tutti gli utensili con due grossi tavoli sull’esterno che consentono di avere ad ogni pasto un panorama mozzafiato: gli isolotti di Panarea e, sullo sfondo, Stromboli. C’è un accesso privato al mare non agilissimo per bambini (sassi) ma anche questo bellissimo. Inoltre, la posizione praticamente a metà strada tra il porto e Cala Zimmari è ottima. Ci piacerebbe poter tornare presto! Maria inoltre è stata molto gentile e attenta. Una vacanza eccezionale.

We stayed in the wonderful villa for 10 days in late September / beginning of October. Actually "villa" does not exactly describe what you get: it's more like a little resort by itself. There are 2 small houses with a total of 3 bedrooms and one additional house with the master bedroom on the upper floor and a large kitchen / eating table on the lower floor. And all is surrounded by a well maintained garden with olive, lemon and mandarin trees. There are - let me count ... - 3 gorgeous shaded patios with ocean view. One patio has a steep path leading down to the sea. But don't expect too much from this "private beach", it's not very attractive for bathing (there are very nice beaches close-by). The property is old, but well maintained and nicely furnished with style. The port of Panarea, restaurants and stores are all within walking distance (10-15 minutes). Panarea itself is a wonderful island ... that is, if you ignore the high price level. Also your mobility outside Panarea is a bit limited by the schedule of the hydrofoils / ferries. The communication with Maria, our host, was very pleasant and uncomplicated. During our vacation, all small problems we had were solved by the very friendly local care-taker. Thanks a lot to you both, Maria and Kristina :)

The house is wonderful, and full of charm. It feels like a house on Panarea should feel - full of simple pleasures and with access to the sea. Lots of outdoor spaces to hang out in, and a kitchen equipped to cook. Maria was very forthcoming with helpful restaurant recommendations, and other practical advice. A thoughtfully designed and comfortable private home, on an island that is fortunately not on everyone's list.
