His place is REALLY cool! The quiet atmosphere is absolutely unreal. The house is probably one of the most interesting places I’ve seen. So unique with how it was designed.. we had a wonderful stay with minimal issues.. there was an interesting smell at our arrival that didn’t really go away so when we would come back from our outings we could still smell it.. had a minor issue with hot water but he was super responsive to getting the boiler started again.. aside from the unknown odor it we would totally rank as a 5. I think another thing that the hosts would benefit from would have been to clear the snow off all of the decks before arrival. There was a ton of snow that made it hard to access the hot tub and the other outdoor areas. I love that they welcome pets and overall we really had a good time!

Mark’s place is lovely. Very easy check in, relaxed hosts, great hot tub with a beautiful view outside on the deck. The place is remote, about ~25min from the mountain. The house is right next to Mark’s house, but the walls are thick so noise / privacy wasn’t at all an issue. Mark and I texted a few times for questions I had and he was very responsive. 10/10 recommend!

we had a lovely stay for our steamboat ski trip. we had some issues with one of our cars only having front wheel drive and the host helped us put chains on, refill the tire when we realized it was flat, and giving us information about which pass to take back to Boulder. definitely went above and beyond to make our stay great and our trip home safe.

Mark is friendly and helpful. The location is remote, but exactly what I was looking for. The house is unique but was perfect for hosting my family and friends Thanksgiving thanks to the large kitchen.

Fantastic peaceful location far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel like you’re in your own little valley yet close enough to Steamboat to access day/night activities
