Hottest day of the year and the air conditioning wasn’t working for 6 hours and only after we communicated multiple times with the host. Lots of cosmetic maintenance required including obvious water leaks where mould is showing on ceilings - for the money being charged you expect absolute luxury. For a house that can accommodate a large number of people the kitchens were poorly equipped. When “handyman” came to resolve he walked straight in without knocking! Mostly aggravated at the lack of apology for the issues we had to flag after check in. No follow up from host to ensure solutions worked or were adequate. No offer of compensation. Needs cleaning to a vacate standard. We would have been satisfied for the cleaning cost to be waived as an act of good faith but received no response after we mentioned we’d like to get a refund so we could move to alternative accommodation for our second night of our celebratory weekend

Very disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. The house was very dirty, towels were not washed and were stained so we had to do 3 loads of washing for the guests basically as soon as we got there. The dishes were all left unclean in the dishwashers and a few in the cupboards had lipstick marks on them as well as any saucepans left in the cupboards were full of mould, we ended up buying our own saucepan and washing all the dishes. The outdoor furniture has rotted away and is collapsing and cannot be utilised. The showers had not been cleaned and still had soap/shampoo on the walls. There was a lollipop stuck to the floor in the living room. Not one part of the property looked as if it had been cleaned. We received a phone call stating the owner will be arriving in an hour to yacht out however he was already there, and the next morning he and 10 - 15 friends turned up to use the pontoon and yacht, wasnt exactly private. Location was exceptional and it is easy to get anywhere.
